•1/4 c. butter
•2-3 garlic cloves, minced
•1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
•1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
•1/2 cup heavy cream
•Pinch white pepper
Sauté the mushrooms and garlic in some of the butter in a pan on the stove. Once they've softened, melt the rest of the butter in the pan, then remove from heat. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, cream, and white pepper, as well as the mushrooms and garlic. Bring the sauce just to a boil over low heat, stirring often so that it doesn't scorch.
Toss with warm noodles and serve.
Serves 4.
